We are seeking a HR Generalist (contractor) to be based out of our HQ in Piscataway, NJ.

 

Responsibilities

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be a main HR point of contact and lead the delivery of HR services and programs located at Adello Biologic’s Piscataway, New Jersey site. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management and employees on Human Resource-related issues. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of knowledge regarding the organization, as well core human resources functions such as employee relations, training, performance management, compensation, benefits, and recruitment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works to understand and respond to the business and HR needs of employees.
  • Handles employee relation issues and works with managers and employees to successfully resolve problems and sensitive issues promptly and ethically.
  • Partners with business and talent acquisition team to ensure talent needs are met.
  • Administers policies and supports in update of employee handbook and other policies.
  • Performs benefit administration.
  • Delivers the training of performance management tool; coordinates all aspects of the performance management system and process, providing guidance to managers and employees on effective utilization of the process.
  • Delivers orientation, onboarding, exit and training programs.
  • Partner with the HR Head to implement Learning and Development initiatives.       Design, develop and at times deliver training content.
  • Maintains, reports, evaluates and translates metrics on headcount, turnover, absenteeism and other HR metrics and provides recommendations to improve.
  • Facilitates Benefits Annual Open Enrollment training and process. 
  • Oversees employee file maintenance in compliance with record keeping requirements, both internal as well as regulatory.
  • Supports payroll processes.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
  • Supports with training and development needs.

Qualifications

PREREQUISITES:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

Experience:      

  • 8+ years of human resource experience.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

 

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of HR management concepts and labor laws with consultative, results-oriented approach.
  • Superior customer service orientation with strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with coworkers of all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with others and utilizing independent thought.
  • Display good judgment and ethics, professional presence and demeanor.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

 

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

General Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in an open office environment with moderate noise levels and frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly enough to participate in highly interactive, fast paced conversations.

 

Noise:

  • Standard office environment noise.

 

Standing/Lifting:

  • No lifting requirements
  • Must be able to spend at least 75% of work time sitting and using standard desktop computer equipment

 

Visual:

  • No special requirements

 

Stress:

  • High paced demanding environment
