We are seeking a  Technician I, ISO Room Cleaning to be based out of our Chicago, IL location.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Technician I, ISO Room Cleaning is a full-time contractor position at Adello Biologics, LLC, in Chicago, IL. The position will involve start-up, normal operation, monitoring and shutdown of following utility systems and equipment in mechanical room(s);

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Purified Water Generation System
  • Multiple Effect Still
  • WFI storage tank and distribution system
  • WFI Points of Use
  • Pure Steam Generation and Distribution System
  • Compressed air generation and Clean Compressed Air Distribution System
  • Clean Nitrogen Distribution System

 

  • Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, calibration and repair work of all related utilities specified.
  • Should be able to clearly read and understand piping, electrical, and instrumentation drawings;
  • Monitoring and control of systems utilizing computer driven Process Automation System (PAS) and PLC controls.
  • Prepare and maintain spare parts list for these utilities
  • Order critical spares in advance to maintain the stock.
  • Maintain documents and records on all validated equipment and systems.
  • Read and Follow SOPs
  • Review and update SOPs for improvements and/ or gaps.
  • Interface with other departments, contractors and disciplines on scheduling repairs and maintenance of clean utility systems.
  • Maintain up to date training records
  • Prepare management of change control documentation as necessary
  • Follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and good documentation practices (cGDPs).

Qualifications

 

PREREQUISITES:

     Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree or less will be accepted with minimum of 2 years’ related experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance and operation of a clean pharmaceutical utilities.

 

 

 

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Clear and precise communication and writing
  • Knowledge of aseptic environment preferred.
  • Positive attitude
  • Self-driven

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

General Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing clean rooms
  • Willing to work in any of the three shifts or rotate Shifts and work weekends as required by the Operations.

 

Noise:

  • Possible moderate noise levels due to manufacturing.

 

Standing/Lifting:

  • Extended periods of standing and walking while working in the manufacturing areas
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

 

Visual:

  • Eye test for prescription safety glasses is required

 

Stress:

  • High paced demanding environment to meet ambitious project goals.

 

Travel:

  • No travel required.
