  • Overview

    Supply Chain Specialist is a regular employee in a full-time exempt position at Adello Biologics, LLC, in Chicago, IL. This employee is responsible for supporting the daily operations and process improvement activities of the SCM Department. The Specialist will support the activities of the Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse and Shipping departments. He/She will be responsible for the implementation of department projects that will result in better productivity in compliance with the regulatory agencies.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the subject matter expert related to SCM systems (I.e. JD Edwards (ERP), POMSnet (MES),  Crystal, Master Control and others)
    • Acts as the Master Data Manager for the ERP and POMS systems
    • Execute and review shipping validation protocols and reports
    • Drive process improvement and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) accordingly
    • Support cycle counting, production inventory planning, and material/BOM lifecycle management
    • Develop ad hoc reports and assist in documentation needs
    • Provides information to upper management on key compliance or productivity issues
    • Challenge the status quo

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years’ experience in materials management, inventory management, and material planning
    • Proven proficiency with enterprise tools (JD Edwards, POMSnet, Crystal, Master Control, MS Access, and Excel).
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
    • In addition the top candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills
    • Previous shipping validation experience preferred
    • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environment preferred

    • Must be able to apply mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

    • Experience with ERP, MRP, MES and inventory management systems
    • Operation and understanding of word processing, spreadsheets, and data management
    • Project management skills and methodology

     

    Other:

    • Knowledge of applicable FDA CFR guideline
    • Knowledge of applicable CGxP’s
